We are seeking an SVP, Business Development, with equity potential, to join a rapidly growing NY strategic marketing agency.
A couple of key functions include:
70-75% Business Development
- Define new business development strategy and focus areas in conjunction with leadership team.
- Oversee the development of a database of targeted client accounts, manage the inbound marketing team and build a growing pipeline of potential new Agency clients.
- Oversee the development of an outbound communications and engagement strategy to reach target firms and secure pitch opportunities.
- Build customer relationships through direct contact, meetings, industry events and professional relationships.
25-30% Client Services
- Lead client engagement, strategy, and account supervision with one of the firm’s existing long-term clients, with support from the current Account Executive. Own and manage the client relationship to ensure continuation of a healthy and trusted partnership.
- Owns key client projects and work collaboratively with creative team to execute clients’ requests.
- Proactively identify next-generation organic growth opportunities for this client and secure approval to expanded Scope of Work for 2023 and beyond.
Qualifications: 10-15 years of Agency business development experience, evidence of strategic contributions to the growth of clients through integrated marketing strategies and campaigns.
