As we grow, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Operations to optimize our workflow, elevate service delivery, and scale with client demand.
Position Overview
The Director of Operations will lead the day-to-day and strategic operations across print production, supply chain, fulfillment, and client service functions. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards—while improving internal processes and fostering team growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, experience in print production or manufacturing. Hospitality experience a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Oversee end-to-end production operations including sourcing, scheduling, quality control, and fulfillment
- Implement SOPs and workflow efficiencies to improve turnaround and reduce cost
- Team & Vendor Management
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team across production, logistics, and customer support
- Build and maintain relationships with print vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners
- Client & Project Management
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of complex, multi-component print projects
- Partner with sales and account managers to support hospitality clients with large-scale rollouts or custom orders
- Quality & Compliance
- Maintain high-quality standards across all production lines
- Ensure compliance with hospitality brand standards and internal SLAs
- Budget & Resource Management
- Develop and manage department budgets and production forecasts
- Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs), adjust resources, and report performance to executive leadership
- Technology & Systems
- Evaluate and implement software/tools for order tracking, inventory management, and production scheduling
- Collaborate with IT to streamline digital-to-print workflows and automation initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years of operations experience in print production, manufacturing, or fulfillment
- Experience serving the hospitality, luxury, or brand-driven sectors
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors
- Strong understanding of pre-press, printing techniques (offset, digital, large format), and post-production workflows
- Proficiency in systems like ERP, MIS, or print management software
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
Preferred Attributes
- Hospitality industry familiarity—understands hotel timelines, branding standards, and guest experience
- Continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus)
