IT Analyst

Our client is seeking an IT Analyst to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Respond in a timely manner to all helpdesk tickets for
Danbury/Brazil/Canada and mobile sales. Assist end users with all basic IT
related issues. Escalate as necessary if unable to resolve to other team
members.

·Provide software support to end users including installation,
laptop configuration, virus problems, malware removal etc.

·Provide hardware support as well as basic troubleshooting tasks to
ensure users hardware is effective in allowing them to perform their job
duties.

·Use Empirum software distribution application to roll out
computers as well as software.
Work closely with key production personnel tasked with supporting production
equipment. Assist with IT related needs including help with workstations and
network connectivity.

· Understand different VLAN network segments and ensure equipment is tied to the correct network. Able to perform
basic network troubleshooting.

·Responsible for shipping systems configuration, compatibility,
testing, documentation and shipping systems support.

·Work closely with Desktop Engineer on all IT related issues and
projects.

·Responsible for printer maintenance and service requests.

·Install workstations and laptop docking stations as well as test
connectivity for new users and move any IT related equipment as necessary.

·Participate in maintaining IT equipment inventory.

·Cross train on any and all IT functions to ensure technical
knowledge and resources are available to meet critical business needs.

·Take detailed notes on troubleshooting efforts taken and if unable
to resolve issues, report as necessary to for escalation to the rest of the
team.

REQUIREMENTS

·A degree in Computer Science or Business degree with major in
Management Information Systems is preferred or equivalent experience in
information technology.

·3+ years of Experience preferred.

·Thorough knowledge of computer hardware and Microsoft Windows 7,
and basic knowledge of Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 operating systems.

·At least an intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office
2010 components.

·Familiarity with networking systems and hardware a plus.

·Ability to learn computer related technology quickly.

·Ability to logically analyze as well as troubleshoot computer
hardware and software problems in an expedient manner while exercising
necessary caution.

·Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate clearly in
English and patience in dealing with end users.
