KEY ACCOUNT
MANAGER SALES
Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their
team. The primary role of the Key Account Manager is to grow existing accounts
with annual revenue over $50,000. These accounts require customer service,
upselling, and constant communication.
Responsibilities:

Provide annual sales forecasting information to
Sales Manager for identified Key Accounts for the subsequent year.
·
Update sales forecasting throughout the year
notifying Sales Manager of any major differences.
·
Communicate with customers, a minimum of 4-8
times a year and as needed, recording all communications in ACT.
·
Generate new sales opportunities at Key Accounts
through cross selling.
·
Attend company tradeshows that Key Accounts are
present.
·
Visit customers on a semi-annual basis.
·
Establish productive, professional relationships
with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
·
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel,
including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account
performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
·
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate
customer needs on an ongoing basis.
·
Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that
meet company standards.
·
Reports to the Sales Manager.
·
Closely coordinates company executive
involvement with customer management.
·
Works closely with Customer Service
Representative and Sales Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and problem
resolution.
·
Complete knowledge of company products,
including pricing and shipping policies.
·
Maintain and establish vendor portals at customer
accounts.
·
Prepare agendas and practice for meetings for
all accounts to be completely versed in customers’ needs.
·
Ability to generate and present PowerPoint
presentations.
·
Adhere to all SOPs for Account Management.
·
Generate SOPs for Account Management repetitive
functions.
