Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Sales and Customer Service Representative


Our client is seeking a Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Sales and Customer Service professional. You will be responsible for helping Personal and Commercial clients by providing product and service information, closing the deal and providing distinctive and exceptional customer service.

Provide information about the products and services
Gather information for providing quotes leading to writing varied lines of Personal and Commercial insurance policies
Document and update customer records based on interactions
Handle customer inquiries
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
Account rounding and cross-selling
Process applications, binders, policy changes and invoices
Interface with underwriters, customer service, billing, claims department and administrative help.

Property & Casualty License in NY or ability to obtain license within 60 days with 3 years prior insurance experience
Minimum 3-5 years previous experience in P&C insurance sales and customer service
Ability to build rapport with clients
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to work well independently and also be a team player
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Resourceful, able to think out of the box and excel in problem resolution
Self-motivated, detail oriented and results driven
Open-minded, coachable, hard-working and punctual
