Our client, a healthcare marketing agency, is
seeking a Media Associate Director, US Search Lead, to join their team. This is
a role within the integrated media team, responsible for planning and
communicating advanced search strategy to clients primarily in the Life
Sciences/Pharma space. The ideal candidate will exhibit proven success managing
complex search programs (SEM + SEO), within the Pharma/Life Sciences space,
while exhibiting a working knowledge of other media programs, to better
understand the role that search plays within the broader media landscape. This
position is actively involved in the development of search planning, with a
focus on ensuring outcomes exceed expectations. The candidate will be
responsible for reporting complex concepts that align with campaign goals and
objectives. Additionally, this position will play a critical role in the new
business process, working directly with sales and account directors to
participate in RFIs, RFPs, and pitches. Ability to travel is required.

Key
Responsibilities

This position will have a prominent client facing
role and require excellent presentation and communication skills. The candidate
will assist in the development and ensure accuracy of execution, while
delivering effective search programs that align and accomplish client goals and
objectives. This position plays an important role in building trust and
expertise with the client. The ideal candidate will excel at relaying complex
search topics in a way that is understandable for someone with no search
experience.

Passion for excellent optimization is a must – the
ideal candidate will relish leading the clients and recommending improvements
and solutions to existing campaigns – while helping to craft strategy for new
initiatives. This role will oversee the largest and most prominent US client
base, and will remain responsible for the direction and outcome of their search
campaigns.

Requirements

v Minimum
of 5 years’ experience leading, executing, and planning both SEM/PPC as well as
SEO campaigns.

v Strategy/Planning
& Presentation Development: Experience putting together and presenting
search strategy that includes elements of both SEO and SEM.

v New
Business: Experience participating in pitches for new business and understand
how to operationalize complex asks during the RFP process.

v Client
Management: Experience interacting directly with clients, building
relationships and seeing great campaigns executed and reported on flawlessly.

v Execution/Campaign
& Project Management: Experience managing and optimizing paid search
campaigns across all major search engines. Experience in both SEO and SEM is a
MUST.

v Training,
Mentoring & Onboarding: Successfully lead and mentor junior members of a
search team – mentoring/membership is acceptable.

v Certifications:
Certification in AdWords, Google Analytics, and Bing is strongly encouraged.

v Travel:
Candidates should be flexible to travel – as needed – to support the business.

v Additional:
Experience in Pharma or Life Sciences / Healthcare is a plus.
