PACKAGING PROTOTYPE / COMP SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Position Overview:
Our client, the largest provider of visual marketing solutions for premier brands and retailers, is seeking an experienced Packaging Prototype Comp Sales Rep to join their team. The company utilizes the most advanced manufacturing technologies and production processes to create high-impact visual spaces for retailers, museums, events, arenas and corporate environments. Additionally, they provide end-to-end full-service creative solutions including graphic design, pre-media, studio photography, creative retouching, package prototyping, and digital asset management. The ideal candidate will be fluent in all stages of the packaging development/design process from layout and design, mechanical and pre-press, and color swatch development. The position requires a high level of creative and technical competency and expertise with all packaging from folding cartons, set boxes, labels, sleeves, shrink wrap, cans, bottles, etc. Ideally the candidate should be located in Atlanta, but we can consider other geographic locations such as New York, Los Angeles, or New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities: • Increase revenue and profitability through generation of new business by selling innovative solutions in custom packaging design. • Identify strategic target accounts and execute a sales strategy from concept to closure. • Work closely with manufacturing, customer service, and scheduling to develop cutting-edge design and packaging solutions. • Meet sales, gross profit and margin goals and impact customer growth opportunities. • Maintain consistent reporting of all relevant sales activities, forecasting, and monthly revenue activity. • Attend key conferences, industry trade shows, and promotional events relevant to the packaging market segment. • Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: • Demonstrated success of B2B sales in the packaging industry, or a creative project management background for someone who is looking to transition into sales. • A hunter mentality, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree.
