EBC Associates is seeking a highly motivated, aggressive, and experienced personal injury attorney to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of relevant experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage their own docket independently. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in our Manhattan office.
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to take over an established personal injury practice with a strong reputation and loyal client base. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated attorney to step into a leadership role, inherit active cases, and continue building on a well-established foundation.
The outgoing attorney is seeking to transition their practice to a capable successor who shares a commitment to client advocacy, trial excellence, and ethical representation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate a diverse caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims.
- Oversee all aspects of case management: intake, discovery, depositions, negotiations, trials, and settlements.
- Provide compassionate, high-quality representation to injured clients and their families.
- Supervise and collaborate with support staff, paralegals, and co-counsel as needed.
- Foster relationships with referral sources, former clients, and the community to continue the growth of the practice.
- Handle the operational transition of the practice, with mentorship and guidance from the current owner during the handover period.
Qualifications:
- Licensed attorney in NY and in good standing.
- 5-10 years of experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury cases, including litigation and trial experience.
- Demonstrated track record of successful case outcomes and settlements.
- Strong negotiation, litigation, and trial preparation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in owning or leading a practice.
- Excellent client communication skills and dedication to client-first service.
- Leadership experience or interest in practice management/ownership strongly preferred.

Compensation & Incentives:
• Base Salary: $150K
• Bonus: 5% of net attorney’s fees earned on your own cases
• Referral Fees: 1/3 of net attorney’s fees for all personally referred cases
