Our client is an established, growing manufacturer in the Medical Device industry, seeking an experienced Product Manager with knowledge of Electrophysiology (EP) to join their team. This position will be responsible for an established product line and will support the sales force and customers, as well as improve the market and expand the product line. The major focus in this role will be in downstream marketing activities, but there may be some upstream marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Develops a comprehensive Marketing Plan for assigned markets, including the US, Europe, etc.
- Provide product forecasts based on customer information and market analysis
- Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure adequate product is available to meet forecast
- Responsible for business plans, pricing, product positioning, promotional strategies, life cycle plans, and advising on product improvements and new product needs
- Develop sales and marketing tactics, including brochures, trade advertising, training manuals and other collateral materials
- Manages activities for product line extensions
- Maintains aware of market changes and competitive intelligence
- Works closely with Key Opinion Leaders regarding clinical research and product needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
- 3 or more years of Product Management experience in the Medical Device industry, additional experience in engineering, sales or clinical
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated track record of managing products meeting revenue and profit objectives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and I-Pad navigation
- Able to travel 30-40% of the time
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and the ability to understand complex medical procedures and discuss with physicians, staff and other key opinion leaders
- Ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects
