Sales Account Executive


Our client, a growing technology firm, is seeking an experienced Sales/Account Executive to join their team. This is a newly created role resulting from corporate growth, and new business development will be a major aspect of this position. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as an IT Staffing/Recruiting Sales Account Manager and will be able to offer existing trust relationships developed throughout their career. Must have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and a polished, professional demeanor. We seek a motivated individual to aid in and become a part of their growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Will be responsible for new business development, creating valuable client and industry partner relationships, and identifying and pursuing multiple marketing opportunities
  • Will apply aspects of full life-cycle business development methodologies and tools, including opportunity identification, qualification, positioning, bidding, competitive analysis, and related activities as well as determining timeline for opportunities to close
  • Must be able to communicate the company offerings, approach and corporate differentiation in relation to client requirements
  • Must be insightful to client’s business initiatives from a technical and overall business perspective
  • Will be expected to establish long-term trust relationships through consistent relationship building behaviors
  • Capture specifications for client staffing requirements and effectively communicate client’s requirements clearly and concisely to the recruiting team for intelligent development of appropriate job descriptions
  • Must have clear understanding of technical roles and responsibilities of resources throughout a current Information Technology department as well as activities performed in achieving specific technology roadmaps
  • Maintain and track opportunities, candidates, contacts, and manage your time in corporate tracking system with minimal supervision
  • Perform new hire orientation manage and develop relationships with consultants on contract assignments
  • Conduct face to face meetings with candidates when appropriate
  • Setting up phone screens and face-to-face interviews for candidates and accompanying candidates on interviews ensuring “hand off” to hiring manager / interviewer
  • Must be highly self-motivated and detail oriented. Will be expected to develop new business and manage accounts without direction – self management is critical.
  • Actively network and participate in event planning to develop new business relationships

Experience Required

  • Sales team management and development (as corporate growth dictates) experience
  • 5 years minimum Sales or Account Management with experience in the IT Staffing industry selling technical services
  • Must have a solid understanding of IT Staffing Business, Sales and Recruitment processes
  • Solid business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset required. Strong problem-solving, analytical, as well as critical thinking skills needed
  • Sales team management and development (as corporate growth dictates) experience
  • Ability to identify and build relationships with key decision makers
  • Consistent track record for keeping and growing existing accounts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Moderate technical knowledge
  • Candidates should have demonstrated ability for new business identification, qualification and capture
  • Superior communication, organizations and presentation skills are essential
  • Must possess the Sales skills and experience necessary to meet and exceed sales goals
  • College degree or equivalent business experience
