Sales Director, US & Canada
A global Consumer Healthcare company is seeking a
Sales Director, US & Canada, to join their team. This is a renewal role,
and exists to drive the business in the US & Canada. The business is in a
high growth phase, and is expected to double the next year. We are looking for
someone to bring new initiatives and creative solutions to grow business and
achieve budgeted numbers. This role also has an element of fiduciary
responsibility being the senior role, and will also operate as the Manager for
the LLC.
Summary
The Sales Director will utilize sales data and
market knowledge to find opportunities for sales growth within existing
accounts and to target new accounts. This role will also monitor the
marketplace for competitor activities, market supply, pricing, and update
internal reports. The role holder is responsible for achieving agreed upon
sales goals for current brands and products, launching new products
successfully, providing excellent customer service, contract management, and
managing the national distributor and other relationships.
Responsibilities
· Develop
and build the consumer healthcare brands into a significant player in the US
landscape in the next 3-5 years.
· Strongly
build and drive distribution across channels and with key accounts.
· Own
and manage the national distributor, establishing strong relationships and
ensuring key deliverables.
· Input
into the future pipeline of the CHC business, working with the leadership and
product development teams. This role will be the face of the organization in
the US market.
· Attend
industry meetings and tradeshows.
· Manage
relationships to ensure sales brokers have the most up to date information and
ensure distribution on the brands and products.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s
Degree required
· Previous
Consumer Healthcare experience in the US market
· Canada
experience and exposure a plus
· Proficient
with MS Office, SAP (Optional)
