Our client
is seeking a Sales Operations Manager with experience in the Consumer Products
industry. The primary responsibilities
of the Sales Operations Manager will be to directly assist the National Sales
Director in: building as well as driving the short and long term strategic
sales plan for the company. Additional
areas of focus include: the go-to analytics expert for the sales department who
also provides guidance and support to the executive and sales leadership team
as well as a key facilitator to driving various corporate and field sales
initiatives/projects.
Planning
& Performance:
Help build
and manage a 1-3 year business plan for the sales department.
Provide
strategic guidance to the sales leadership team on sales and share issues and
opportunities.
Key conduit
between field sales, the National Sales Director, and chain team.
Lead the
weekly/monthly performance routines and process, including the template and
tools used.
Manage &
Lead Analytics Efforts:
Oversee data
analysis, including VIP, DRS, IRI, BI, and Market Track.
Lead role in
developing annual revenue and price plan.
Performs
detailed analysis to identify and open gaps, help the field and chain team
capitalize on the opportunities.
Provide on-going
guidance to corporate sales team.
Sales Office
Lead:
Leads
Corporate Sales Team when National Sales Director is out of the office.
Coordinates/facilitates
with the Corporate Sales team on major sales initiatives/projects.
Assists
Chain Account team with key buyer presentations; including assisting in the
selling process.
Lead
National Sales meeting coordination efforts.
Elevate The
Sales Team Skills:
Assist sales
team to improve skill set and capabilities via training & tools to becoming
more efficient/effective.
Coordinate
with Sales Development Manager to set up on-going field training via WebEx and
at Sales & Marketing Meetings.
Actively
looks for ways to improve the sales team, looking at other CPG companies for
best practices.
Takes the
lead on complex ad hoc analysis requests.
