Senior Associate, Product Strategy and Development – Stamford, Hybrid

We are seeking a Senior Associate, Product Strategy and Development, based in Stamford, Connecticut. This position will be primarily responsible for assisting various team leads on delivering data-driven strategic advice.

 Core Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead and employ data analysis, research, and the creation of compelling presentation materials to support key strategic projects, including new product development, product refinement, vehicle expansion, new markets / channel expansion, go-to-market strategy, and competitive industry analysis
  • Utilize strategic frameworks and a data-driven approach to deliver recommendations supported with detailed market research and empirical evidence
  • Leverage financial, quantitative and industry tools effectively to identify product development opportunities and to strengthen our competitive product positioning
  • Work with large volumes of product and industry data for an evolving set of investment vehicles, including alternative investments, mutual funds, and separate accounts
  • Become proficient in the use of internal databases and third-party systems, including Factset, Morningstar Direct, eVestment, Preqin, and ISS SI
  • Monitor, summarize, and articulate key industry trends and insights

 Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or related field
  • 2-4+ years professional work experience involving investment/asset management or wealth management
  • Demonstrates understanding of the investment management business, capital markets, and associated investment products and vehicles, including mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and intermittent liquidity vehicles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated individual, able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently as well as within a team environment
  • Able to handle several tasks simultaneously, as well as re-prioritizing as necessary
  • Supports company’s values, treats others with respect and consideration, and demonstrates a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Working towards CFA and/or CAIA designations a plus

$120k-$150k + 20% Bonus (flexible for right candidate both up & down for less or more years of experience)
