Meet The Team
CEO & Founder Liz Capants spearheaded EBC Associates more than 10 years ago, providing best-in-class people-first executive search strategies, working as an extension of your organization for the long term. Liz provides a turnkey solution to the pre-hire, hire, and post-hire human capital search process, transitioning to search after a global career in business development and marketing. The EBC Associates’ strategy incorporates search methodologies with continuous input from you, a highly responsive approach to managing deliverables, as well as reasons for making recommendations throughout the process.
A trusted advisor, Liz has built a reputation on integrity and accuracy, building global teams in a broad range of industries and job functions, from early-stage startups through Fortune 500 organizations. Liz is passionate about giving back and is involved with several associations. These include certification as a women’s business enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s largest third-party certifier of the businesses owned and operated by women in the US, Women Presidents Education Organization, WPEO, WINGS For Growth, a 501 (c) (3) women’s leadership and mentoring organization, Strategic Alliance Board Partner with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization New York, (EONY), and Board Member with People’s Preparatory Charter School.

Jovhanna Tovar: Search Consultant
Jovhanna brings to the EBC associates team a global mindset, an extensive international network, and a strong motivation to help companies build their teams with highly qualified leaders for long term success in the global marketplace.
A native Colombian, Jovhanna embarked on an international journey early in her career. For the last 20 years, she has lived in seven countries on three different continents (America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific), working with international companies in the tourism, finance, and beverage industries, among others.
As part of these jobs and other non-profit roles in business and diplomatic circles, she has been in regular contact with multicultural teams, top executives, and clients from all over world.
Jovhanna’s excellent communication and foreign language skills – she speaks English, Spanish, German, French and Mandarin Chinese – facilitate the maintenance and expansion of her professional network. She is also a trainer for intercultural communication, leadership, and management. Jovhanna brings to the EBC associates team a global mindset, an extensive international network, and a strong motivation to help companies build their teams with highly qualified leaders for long term success in the global marketplace.
